JOB DESCRIPTION
Maintaining the mission and vision of Catapult Learning, the Professional Development (PD) Manager will lead coaching and training programs for school leaders, leadership teams, and/or teachers to improve school culture, instructional practices, and student learning outcomes. This position will assess, evaluate, create, and improve PD programs with a focus on customer satisfaction through program delivery, problem solving and frequent communication, ensuring contract renewal. This position reports to the Regional PD Director and collaborates with a team of professional development staff in the Western Region. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Intimately understand and implement the terms and conditions of all contracts and proposals for all programs
  • Partner with customer liaisons, operations, and sales to understand new program requirements
  • Apply leadership experience as well as current researched-based best practices to design a systematic and differentiated plan for professional growth
  • Help align the schools\xe2\x80\x99 vision, mission, and values to reflect a collective focus on student learning and achievement
  • Promote and facilitate discussions on how to create a safe and positive learning environment that is conducive to the needs of all students
  • Ensure the programs meet required goals for client satisfaction, general quality and other specified goals
  • Help all stakeholders articulate a clear and common understanding of effective instruction
  • Support the development of systems for effective, intentional, and collaborative communication among teachers, families, and students
  • Ensures customer service and program challenges and opportunities are communicated to the Regional PD Director, offering potential solutions
  • Establishes a positive professional rapport with school staff, principals, and the school district
  • Provide professional development workshops and job-embedded coaching support for leaders and/or leadership teams at their school sites as needed
  • Follow the \xe2\x80\x9cplan-do-check-act\xe2\x80\x9d coaching cycles
  • Facilitate reflective conversations that build the capacity of leaders through a strengths-based, partnership coaching model
  • Analyze a variety of data to maintain a process for continuous improvement
  • Review curriculum and related student data to ensure that all students have access to an engaging and rigorous curriculum
  • Create opportunities to bring teams and/or cross-functional teams together to collaborate on school initiatives.
  • Communicate actively and work collaboratively with all stakeholders regarding PD programs
  • Assist in other areas as needed due to increase in customer needs throughout the school year
  • Travel will be required
  • Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor\'s but Master\'s is preferred
  • Teaching and leadership experience required
  • Administrative certification
  • Minimum 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in K-12 education
  • Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a building administrator (principal/assistant principal) or comparable educational supervisory position
  • Experience delivering professional development workshops to adults
  • Expert knowledge of adult learning theory and non-evaluative, partnership coaching
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products and/or Google Suite products; knowledge of video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, Cisco WebEx, etc.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented
  • Excellent communication and writing skills are essential
SALARY:
  • $85,000-$105,000
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • 30% travel required
  • Prepare written reports and/or logs that detail coaching activities
  • Participate in online training and/or conference calls to discuss coaching opportunities, provide program status updates, and/or prepare for upcoming professional development sessions
  • Adept at dealing with changes in work schedules and assignments based on school-related factors
