What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

  • Develop new prospects and interact, primarily by phone, with dealerships and dealer groups across the U.S. to generate new business and optimize existing ones.
  • Work independently and with your team to meet and surpass sales objectives.
  • Contact dealerships to create interest in coming on board with a variety of programs; up-sell services.
  • Consult GMs and internet managers to customize programs.
  • Create urgency for dealers to sign-up for our programs in a timely manner.
  • Conduct field visits as necessary.
  • Build and maintain relationships with dealerships in their territory as well as their respective Client Success Manager(s).
  • Consistently brings on additional dealers and net revenue for designated regions.
Your Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience with a successful track record in a sales or a sales-related role, ideally in the automotive space.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience in the automotive industry in sales, support, digital marketing, dealer tools, or other client-facing roles and/or have an understanding of dealership operations.
You Also Possess the Ability to:
  • Identify sales opportunities through a strategic approach and propose appropriate action plans.
  • Put a deep understanding of sales theories and methods into action; pipeline-focused.
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, including strong phone skills and willingness to spend most of the time making sales calls.
  • Exhibit team-building skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
  • Show technical savvy, including MS Office Suite, and knowledge of internet/email/database marketing technologies. Familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
  • Use an organized and structured approach. Our star performers (and highest earners) forecast and track their prospects and sales dollars meticulously and at any given time know exactly where they are and what they need to do in order to meet their goals.
  • Understand and embrace our complete product portfolio. Our most successful employees know our services and programs inside and out. Learning about each new one that we introduce will ensure that you provide the most complete solution to your client\'s evolving needs.
  • Utilize your "out-of-the-box" resourcefulness in coming up with new ideas and prospecting techniques.
  • Display interpersonal finesse by using tact and diplomacy in all communications, implement your ability to dissect nuances in communication, and demonstrate active listening which will aid you in building meaningful relationships with our stakeholders.
  • Handle rejection well, coupled with an unrelenting drive and persistence to work past resistance and barriers.
  • Embrace a consultative approach. A major key to success in this role will be to ask the right questions and communicate effectively so as to identify and understand how our product set fits within the goals and marketing strategy of potential clients.

Salary: Base + uncapped commission with $100K - $120 OTE
