Jackson Ear Clinic is a busy specialty otology and neurotology practice seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This position is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a critical role in creating a positive and efficient clinic experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients; verify demographics and insurance
Schedule appointments for follow-ups and inbound referrals
Answer phones, triage calls, and route messages appropriately
Collect copays and outstanding balances
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Scan documents into the EHR and manage incoming paperwork
Send and receive faxes and outside records
Check out patients and schedule testing or return visits
Maintain a professional, welcoming front office environment
Qualifications:
Prior office or receptionist experience required
Medical office experience preferred, but not required
Strong customer service and communication skills (phone and in-person)
Excellent multitasking and organizational ability
Professional appearance and demeanor
Comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty clinic
Basic computer skills and ability to learn EHR/practice management systems

Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM

$16.00-$19.00 per hour
