The Front Desk is often the first point of contact and the first impression for guests. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they've made the right choice to stay with us. To deliver a great guest experience - a Front Desk Agent will check in and out guests efficiently, and make sure they have all they need for a great stay.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with excellent phone etiquette and clear communication.
Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, and special requests to ensure a seamless experience.
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs promptly.
Conduct night audits when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure accurate financial records.
Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details while adhering to privacy standards.
Support guest relations by resolving issues efficiently and professionally, turning challenges into positive experiences.
Promote hotel services and amenities to maximize guest engagement and revenue opportunities.
Experience
Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs confidently.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve our diverse clientele effectively.
Familiarity with hotel management systems, multi-line phone systems, and night audit procedures is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor in person and over the phone.
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including guest services, hotel operations, and resort amenities.
