Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts. Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities. Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and presentable at all times. Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages as needed. Assist with night audit responsibilities as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy. Uphold high standards of guest relations and hospitality throughout the hotel.

Experience

Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Hospitality management experience is a plus; familiarity with resort environments is advantageous. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests. Proficient in phone etiquette and managing multi-line phone systems effectively. A background in guest services or related fields will be beneficial for success in this role.
