Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent (2nd shift) to join our team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, providing guests with necessary information about their stay. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using hotel management software. Operate phone systems to respond to calls and relay messages as needed. Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared for guests. Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to enhance the guest experience. Any other duties assigned by manager.

Skills

Strong background in guest relations and customer service within the hospitality industry. Experience in front desk operations or hotel management is preferred. Proficiency with phone systems and hotel management software is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to better serve diverse clientele. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution in guest services.
