Dr. David Felder, Cosmetic Eyelid and Laser Center of South Florida, a premier Ocular Plastic Surgeon and thriving aesthetics practice located in Fort Lauderdale, currently has an

opening for a Front Desk Administrative Assistant.



Position: Front Desk Administrative Assistant.



The ideal candidate is a positive, energetic, intelligent, highly dependable,
well-organized professional, that has the ability to multi-task while
learning to use new tools and procedures, ensuring excellent service standards
and maintain high customer satisfaction.

REPORTS TO:



Office Manager- Surgical Coordinator and Dr. Felder

Essential Skills, Abilities and functions:

Provide excellent customer service. Must have good communication skills, computer savvy, ability to manage multiple tasks, good problem-solving skills, able to work as a team member, well-organized with attention to detail, treats patients and co-workers with respect, demonstrates neat and orderly work habits, has positive attitude, enjoys selling and educating patients on skincare products and, maintains appropriate appearance to facilitate the above.

Job Responsibilities and Duties



Patient Check-In



Responsible for patient check-in, greeting each patient in a pleasant and professional manner. Answering phones Booking appointments Prepares new charts and organizes existing charts. Prepares patient charts for appointments the next day. Filing, Updating, Maintaining Patient Charts Evaluates chart data to verify all information has been received and completed, and signatures obtained. If an existing patient, verifies all information for completeness and accuracy. Enters all new patient demographic information into the computer. Morning Set up Office / Closing for Evening Answer surgical and aesthetic inquiries, book patient appointment Assist with event support

Patient Check-Out



Processes patients at the conclusion of the visit. Schedules return appointments for follow-up. Collects fee for services.

Administrative



Serves as the primary individual responsible for answering the phone. Greets the person in a friendly and warm manner, listens carefully and directs calls appropriately. Verifies next day's appointments and follow up appointments. Compiles new patient information packages. Ensures all forms are available and are made from originals. Regularly checks reception room, kitchen, sterile room, and restrooms for neatness and for supplies. Assists Office Manager/ Surgical Coordinator as needed. Files charts and paperwork as needed. Makes appointments and turns leads into appointments. Compiles the daily payment worksheet and balances daily payments. Assures that Front Area, Waiting Room and Restroom are organized and presentable for patients throughout the day and at the end of the day. Forwards telephone to service on a nightly basis. Performs other duties as required, as assigned by Office Manager/ Surgical Coordinator or Dr. Felder.

Required Education and Experience



High School or equivalent working experience in customer service-related field
3 years minimum in customer service-related field

Speaking Spanish, a plus

Days/Hours: Monday and Wednesday, 9:00 am to 5:00.

Skincare commission available

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
