We are seeking a passionate and talented French Chef to lead the culinary team in delivering authentic and exquisite French cuisine. Duties
Oversee kitchen staff, including training, mentoring, and managing shift operations to maintain efficiency and consistency
Supervise food production processes, including some menu planning, ingredient sourcing, inventory control, and food safety compliance
Maintain impeccable standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations across all kitchen areas
Available to work some weekends if needed. Prep for Prix fixe dinner being served on Friday & Saturday nights.
Skills/Requirements
Experience in fine dining/nice casual environments with a focus on French cuisine and culinary artistry. Possible expansion to onsite catering of events.
Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop culinary support teams. Culinary Degree from accredited school.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with staff and service teams. Able to work well with others.
Licensed to work in food service Independence, MO
Possesses a valid drivers license and transportation
