responsibilities:
Leading audit support to ensure accuracy of cost of goods sold (COGS), gross margin (GM), and product cost, while maintaining effective controls

Collaborating with Operations, Technology Development Group, and Sales to formulate return on investment (ROI) and cost-benefit analyses

Working closely with the CFO and executive team to establish the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) as well as quarterly estimates, and subsequently partnering with the team to ensure AOP is not only met but exceeded

Developing cost analysis and strategies, in support of the CFO, to provide valuable business recommendations to senior management

Performing month-end cost activities and contributing to audit tasks, which encompass explanations for variance analysis, inventory unit reconciliation, and gross margin sensitivity analysis

Creating automated cost of goods sold and production reports to enhance analytical capabilities and ensure data precision

Reconciling initial raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished-goods inventory.

qualifications:
MBA preferred; holds a Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or another quantitative field

Comfortable and credible with internal stakeholders and external audiences; possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Word and PowerPoint; skilled in advanced Excel; experienced with accounting and ERP systems (SAP or similar) and ease with remote access and collaboration technology (Teams, SharePoint).

Pragmatic problem solver with strategic thinking capabilities, adept at resolving day-to-day issues.

Demonstrates unquestionable ethics, treating individuals with respect; maintains commitments; instills trust in others; operates with integrity

Possession of CPA or Power BI skills is beneficial, but not obligatory.

Comp: $120-$130K base salary plus profit sharing
