Our client\'s headquarters is in Perrysburg, Ohio. This is a remote position, however, we require someone to live within an acceptable driving distance to our headquarters for meeting and events. Only candidates in Ohio, Southern Michigan, and Northeast Indiana will be considered.

The FP&A Manager will serve as a key member of the Finance team supporting all levels including key leaders. The successful candidate will be effective at interfacing with various business teams, developing an understanding of business needs, and translating financial metrics for non-Finance operators. The main responsibilities of this role will include various areas related to sales trends and reporting, business segment analyses, and commission reporting. The candidate should be a collaborative team player who is willing to work in fun, but fast-paced high growth environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on key performance indicators and financial metrics.
  • Regular financial forecast reporting.
  • Communication and presentation of business financial results.
  • Creation and maintenance of monthly financial presentation.
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue and gross profit.
  • Weekly, monthly, and quarterly Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis such as volume, customer, and salesmen reports.
  • Manage modeling tools such as incentive program development.
  • Complete regular lead measure reporting such as backlog and pipeline trending.
  • Complete regular lag measure reporting such as bookings by segment and Work Order creation.
  • Work with a Business Intelligence Tool for enhanced reporting visualization.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
  • Support Senior Management Team and business unit leaders with in-depth analysis.
  • Work with Accounting department for month end close reporting.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Key Performance Measurements
  • Weekly Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting deliverables on time. Such deliverables might include pipeline reporting, volume dashboards, customer reporting, and trending reports.
  • KPI Reporting management both at a consolidated and small business unit level.
  • Management observation regarding attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills and information.
  • Other key metrics prescribed by Finance & Accounting leadership, resulting in positive Company impact.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or Master\'s degree preferred.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis. Minimum of 5 years experience, preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • ERP and Business Intelligence systems knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships.
  • Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy and precision.
  • Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to support projects requiring problem-solving and prioritization.
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated
  • The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
