Job Description

Responsible for loading and offloading containers, delivery trucks, vans, and trailers. Moving pallets of products/equipment from one area to another, using gas and diesel and electric operated forklifts. Rotate pallets of products to have the nearest to expire products in the front at all times. Perform a daily checklist of forklift before and after utilization to ensure no damages of forklift as well as to report any needs for the mechanics to work on. Ensures quality control by identifying and inspecting products prior to putting them into inventory or preparing for shipment and delivery. Compares items to be pulled against invoices to ensure accurate delivery of products ordered. Stacks and stores items or materials in specified areas, packs merchandise and products according to specifications. Back up drivers/warehouse personnel as necessary due to personnel shortage and/or emergency deliveries. Performs other duties assigned in support of the warehouse/delivery function assigned to.

SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS:

Valid forklift license/certification Experience working on a forklift and able to operate in tight spaces. Able to work flexible hours, works well under pressure, team player Valid health certificate
