Food Runner- WTR Pool & Grill

The WTR Pool & Grill located inside the Godfrey Hotel currently has an exciting opportunity for a Food Runner and are actively looking to meet the best and brightest talent that the hospitality industry has to offer! Responsibilities:

• Act as a contact point between the kitchen and serving staff
• Deliver hot to order items from kitchen to tables rapidly and accurately
• Assist serving staff with responding to guest needs and special requests
• Clear, clean, and reset tables for dining as needed
• Knowledge and familiarity of current food and beverage offerings
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures, i.e., product rotation, dating, labeling, and cleaning
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areas
• Demonstrate knowledge of hours and available amenities of the hotel
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Previous experience in a restaurant a plus, but will train the right fit
• High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent
• Ability to be on feet, lift heavy trays, and walk for entirety of shift
• Exceptional customer service skills
• A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
• A flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
