We are looking for a Busser to support our wait staff and set up our dining areas. Busser responsibilities include polishing plates, glasses and silverware, refilling beverages and cleaning tables. Ultimately, you will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience. This person will also be cross-trained Food Runner to serve meats to our guests at Galeto. This position is fast paced and fun, developing skills in both Kitchen and Front of House areas of the restaurant. These Food Runners, or Gauchos, are the heart of the Brazilian Steakhouse. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Prepare dining areas before guests are seated \xc2\xb7 Set tables with candles, napkins, and linens \xc2\xb7 Serve water and appetizer baskets \xc2\xb7 Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed \xc2\xb7 Clean and reset tables after guests leave \xc2\xb7 Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas \xc2\xb7 Serving our various meats to the guests tableside. \xc2\xb7 Prepping meats for service. \xc2\xb7 Maintaining the grill and its cleanliness. \xc2\xb7 Cooking meats efficiently to meet guest requests. \xc2\xb7 Maintain a clean and organized meat inventory. Skills \xc2\xb7 Work experience as a Busser or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus \xc2\xb7 Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays \xc2\xb7 Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules \xc2\xb7 Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours \xc2\xb7 Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment \xc2\xb7 Knife skills are a plus. \xc2\xb7 Keeping a positive attitude under pressure. \xc2\xb7 Meat knowledge is also a plus.
