Food Prep & Kitchen Support
Job Description
VietCrave is a vibrant Vietnamese takeout and bubble tea shop launching this weekend in Smithfield, RI! We're looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to support our kitchen operations and help us deliver fresh, flavorful food with speed and care.
Responsibilities:
Wash, prep, and portion vegetables, proteins, and sauces
Assist with assembling ingredients for cooking
Maintain a clean, organized prep station
Label and store food properly (date marking, allergen awareness)
Help with dishwashing and general cleaning
Support the team during busy shifts with flexibility and teamwork
Requirements:
Prior kitchen or food prep experience preferred (but not required)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for extended periods
Willing to learn and grow with us!
Schedule:
Approximately 3-4 hours per day
5-7 days per week
