Our Ottumwa, IA location features our Main offices and a modern state-of-the-art HMA production facility to meet your every need. Our Harvey facility provides HMA for the Oskaloosa/Knoxville/Pella area. Our 2 modern portable HMA facilities travel Iowa and Missouri to provide safe and smooth roads for the traveling public. Our award-winning crews can do any asphalt job from driveways and parking lots to streets, roads and highways to specialty projects such as race tracks and commercial compost pads. Norris Asphalt Paving Co. and Douds Stone LLC. is seeking a self-motivated, hardworking, and goal oriented floating mechanic to work at various quarry locations, heavy highway construction sites, and out of our Ottumwa shop as needed to work on our trucks, semis, and heavy equipment. Candidate must be able to prioritize, communicate, and instinctively think on the go. Travel compensation included, must be willing to acquire a class A CDL which we will help obtain. Metal fabrication and welding is a plus. Willing to train the right candidate. Pay range of $24-$29hr based off experience.
