Position: Fleet Mechanic

Status: Full-time

Salary: $20-24/hour

Hours: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, 7 am \xe2\x80\x93 4 pm

Location: Spokane Valley, WA

About this role: The Fleet Mechanic serves to ensure all company vehicles are in top operating condition. Using mechanical skills to ensure vehicles meet DOT safety requirements and company standards for road use. Repair company vehicles. Maintain clean and safe cars for company employees. Maintain vehicle records. Submit vehicle fuel and mileage reports. Submit all other reports such as accident, DOT or IFTA. Assist delivery drivers with equipment problems. Coordinate Quarterly taxes due in Washington and Idaho. Coordinate the purchase of new vehicles for the company to include NWFS. Coordinate and help schedule pool car usage by other departments. Coordinate licensing, insurance, prorate, parking permits, and other fee\xe2\x80\x99s imperative to the daily operation of the fleet. Coordinate and help with Preventative Maintenance on company vehicles daily. Coordinate and help team with \xe2\x80\x9con call\xe2\x80\x9d duties required of Garage 365 days a year and on a weekend-to-weekend basis, to include accident investigation and insurance issues that may arise due to an accident. Other duties as assigned.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll contribute to our team: High school diploma or GED required. Ability to work in a team and independently, maintain and organize paper for all required PM\xe2\x80\x99s and meet deadlines for all required work orders, 360, OV and SAP. Must possess valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license. Must possess 4 years of technical experience in all aspects of fleet/vehicle repair with strong mechanical background and troubleshooting skills. Must be proficient in the use of a computer.
