Job description:
The Fleet Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicles, trailers, construction equipment and equipment with small engines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Reports to:
Director of Operations
Work Hours
7:00 to 4:00 Monday - Friday, and one Saturday per month
Job Requirements:
Strong mechanical skills Strong electrical skills Ability to use tools, paints, welders, Jacks, lifts and other tools necessary to meet job responsibilities.Responsibilities:
Routine maintenance and repairs of Heartstone vehicles and trailers. Routine maintenance and repairs of Heartstone construction equipment, this may include diagnoses and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues. Routine maintenance and repairs to Heartstone equipment with small engines, this may include diagnoses and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues. Keep shop, in and safe, organized and professional state Maintain accurate service and maintenance records Assure that backup equipment is maintained and functional for use Mobile, on-site repairs to all equipment and vehicles as needed * Provide and update a non-operational equipment list for management
