Fleet Diesel Technician

Baier Transport LLC - Seabrook, NH.

Baier Transport LLC is seeking an experienced Fleet Diesel Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of modern Peterbilt car haulers and tow trucks. Baier Transport is a family owned automotive transport and logistics company covering the eastern seaboard from Maine to Florida and beyond. This position oversees all aspects of fleet maintenance, including repairs, service scheduling, shop operations, and on-site support programs for a fleet of approximately 15 power units, trailers and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, drivetrains, brake systems, electrical systems, hydraulics and beyond. Manage service intervals and maintenance schedules for all trucks and equipment Maintain and organize parts inventory and shop supplies Oversee the on-site fueling program and other on-site support programs Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment Keep detailed maintenance records and communicate repair needs clearly Coordinate with drivers and dispatch to minimize downtime Ensure all vehicles are in safe working operation at all times.
Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience Experience with PACCAR/Peterbilt systems preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and wiring diagrams Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong understanding of FMCSA laws and regulations. Valid CDL required
