We are seeking a
Fleet Coordinator
to join our
Administrative Team
at our
corporate headquarters in Marlborough, MA.
This is a full-time,
in-office position
.
The position involves managing fleet logistics and safety, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role includes tasks like tracking vehicle usage, driver eligibility and maintaining records for compliance and insurance.
Core responsibilities
Fleet management
: Coordinate the movement and dispatch of vehicles, track vehicle usage, and manage fuel levels.
Record keeping:
Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage. This can also include managing vehicle registrations, insurance, and compliance with regulations.
Inventory management
: Track and manage an inventory of all vehicles
Compliance:
Ensure the fleet complies with all relevant government regulations, such as those from the Department of Transportation (DOT), and internal policies.
Coordination:
Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Acquisition and disposal
: Assist with the purchase and replacement of vehicles in the fleet.
Key skills and qualifications
Organization:
The ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and records efficiently.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with staff, vendors, and clients.
Technical knowledge:
Familiarity with GPS tracking systems highly preferred.
Problem-solving:
The ability to analyze situations and find solutions for issues.
Computer proficiency:
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google suite ( Gmail, Google Meet etc.
Pay Scale i
s $24 -$27 per hour based upon experience
