Job Description

Primary Objectives of Position




The Fleet Administration Supervisor will be responsible for the administration of the Chassis fleet to include chassis title and registration, master fleet and trucker files, data integrity and chassis billing. Supervisor will support Fleet Administration management in coordination with Field


Operations, HQ operations, Commercial and Finance teams with the timely reporting of fleet administration parameters.


Develop and maintain outstanding customer and vendor relationships.

Chassis Administration



Assist to maintain a complete and accurate chassis fleet file Utilize system reports to analyze chassis data for location and disposition status Maintain current and complete equipment details within Global Intermodal Equipment Registry (GIER) Maintain motor carrier files in conjunction with UIIA

Vendor Management



Maintain strong and productive relationships with vendors
Review the exchange of electronic information to include interchange transactions, maintenance and repair activities, billing, and other related data elements

Data Integrity



Monitor data integrity related to on-hire and off-hire transactions (e.g. validate gate transactions, manage exceptions, maintain systems accuracy) Utilize system reports to identify and research data errors and make necessary corrections to assure accurate invoicing and pool reporting Research and resolve daily EDI transaction with systems updates Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes, and standards Implement controls and compliance metrics to reduce data issues and improve data quality

Chassis Billing



Process timely and accurate customer invoicing related to pool and lease usage Research and reconcile customer billing disputes Record and communicate billing adjustments Maintain trucker contact information for electronic billing and payment

Regulatory Compliance



Develop and monitor regulatory inspection schedule Provide current registration for equipment and maintain electronic version within equipment record Develop and maintain compliance data and reporting

Operational and customer reporting



Assist with data gathering, data integrity, analysis, and reporting Work closely with Customer Logistics Reps assisting with the Trip Monitoring Dashboard and make any necessary adjustments with Out of Network Chassis moves KPI and performance metrics Assist with data gathering, data integrity, analysis, and reporting Other Duties as assigned

Job Specifications




Minimum Education / Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

2-5 years of working experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain

Mandatory Technical Skills



Office 365 suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, SharePoint Microsoft Excel - ability to create worksheets, charts/graphs, data tables, pivot table PowerPoint - ability to create PowerPoint slides, insert graphics/images/shapes, animate slides

Other Preferred Skills:



Prior working experience in Intermodal/Shipping domain
