Firestop Installer
Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF FIRESTOP TECHNICIAN:
Install Firestop systems using firestop sealants & mineral wool for a variety of applications
Examples of caulk installation include sealing around through penetrations in walls and floors, applying caulk to bottom and head of wall assemblies and sealing large openings
Additional installations include spray applications which involve operating a sprayer to apply firestop material to edge of slab joints
Safety practices and protocols must be followed at all times, ongoing safety training/compliance will be provided
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1+ Years commercial caulking or waterproofing
Strong work ethic Valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation Working cell phone Ability to remain professional at all times, even in stressful circumstances Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Able to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work on a team and take direction from foreman and/or superintendentDESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Boom/Scissor lift experience Able to read blueprints Familiarity with UL details
