Fire Alarm Field Service Coordinator





The Fire Alarm Field Service Coordinator position is responsible for providing communication and support services to the applicable technicians and other office staff. He/she will coordinate dispatching of the technicians by receiving and relaying phone calls and emails.


The hourly rate for this position is $30.00-$38.00 per hour, depending on experience.




Job Responsibilities




Schedule and dispatch technicians, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules Relay work orders, messages, and information to/from technicians, supervisors, and field inspectors Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment Maintain contact with all technicians on assignment as well as maintain their status and location Enter, update and retrieve information via multiple computer programs Prepares and maintains accurate records and logs of all telephone calls and other records, files and information systems Arrange and maintain various types of records including job files Complete the setup of new jobs/projects Responsible for data and budget entry Manage job billings Performs routine clerical work as required Assist in the completion of special projects; if applicable Accomplish responsibilities as required using business software as approved by WSFP Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications




Two years' experience in the fire protection industry or related industry Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word and Excel Knowledge of Glenwood Springs, CO and the surrounding area Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in multi-tasking Able to function and thrive in a fast-paced environment Puts forth a courteous, friendly, helpful attitude at all times when answering the phones and dealing with both other associates and customers Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen test and background check
