As a growing 12-room lodge and fine dining restaurant with James Beard Award Winning Chef, Chef Jason Wilson, we focus on exceptional service to our guests, a meticulously curated menu, an award winning wine list, and an elegant atmosphere. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Fine Dining Server to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Position Overview:



The Fine Dining Server is responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests by delivering high-quality, attentive service. This role requires a deep understanding of our menu, knowledge of wine service and bartending, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of our guests with professionalism and grace.

Key Responsibilities:



Lodge Guest Service:

Welcome overnight guests to the lodge, share features and history of the facilities, and escort them to their room.

Event Service:

Casia Lodge & Ranch hosts dozens of weddings and special events throughout the year. Providing excellent customer service to our guests is a top priority.

Exceptional Dining Experience:

Guide diners through the menu, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure every guest receives an exceptional dining experience.

Menu Knowledge:

Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings. Be prepared to answer detailed questions and accommodate special dietary needs.

Order Management:

Accurately take and process orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and ensure timely and correct delivery of food and beverages.

Table Maintenance:

Monitor and maintain tables throughout the meal, including refilling drinks, clearing plates, and addressing any issues promptly.

Professionalism:

Exhibit a high level of professionalism and poise at all times. Adhere to dress code and grooming standards.

Collaboration:

Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure a smooth and efficient dining service.

Upselling:

Utilize knowledge of the menu and wine list to suggest additional items that enhance the guest experience and contribute to sales goals.

Cleanliness:

Ensure that dining areas are clean, organized, and set up to the restaurant's standards before and after service.

Compliance:

Follow all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

Qualifications:



Experience:

Previous experience in fine dining or high-end restaurant service is preferred. A strong understanding of wine and beverage service is a plus.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and efficiency.

Appearance:

Well-groomed and able to adhere to a professional dress code.

Flexibility:

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional training or certifications in food service or hospitality are a plus.

Certifications:

Food handlers permit and MAST Certificate are required
