Position Overview
The Financial Analyst II is a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team and develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. This individual will perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance; gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans and operating forecasts. The Financial Analyst will also monitor and provide monthly revenue and expense analyses on complex projects where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of tangible and intangible variables. Primary responsibilities will include monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting for both top-line and operating expenses, capital expenditure planning, headcount planning, business partnering, and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Perform monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting for both top-line and operating expenses, capital expenditure planning, headcount planning, business partnering, and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform monthly departmental budget vs. actual analysis and provide actionable insights to management
  • Deliver detailed written analysis of volume/rate/mix analysis and actual spend analysis vs. plan/forecast for multiple cost centers
  • Refine monthly and quarterly reporting packages for both internal and external stakeholders including quarterly Board of Directors\' packages
  • Define key financial and reporting metrics and assist in Tableau report creation with the business analytics team
  • Present financial results and forecasts to Executives, Business Partners, and Finance leadership.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 4+ years of broad-based, progressive financial analysis and planning experience in a highly analytical, results-driven, corporate finance role
  • Financial modeling and analysis techniques in high growth organizations including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in financial and managerial accounting concepts including GAAP, revenue recognition, and cash and accrual methodologies
  • Experience and familiarity with cash flow concepts such as DCF, IRR and NPV
  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision and balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent presentation skills to Company executives and business partners
  • Collaborative and customer-service work style
  • Exceptional attention to detail and results-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation Salary Range: $78,600 - $118,000 Other compensation elements include:
  • equity grant
  • bonus eligible
