Description/Job Summary:

RHD is hiring for a full time Financial Analyst! This position is offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus after the successful completion of 90 days of employment.

Resources for Human Development\'s Behavioral Health and Housing Division is seeking a Financial Analyst to assume primary responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting on financial results for the division. The Financial Analyst also assists the division with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of financial results and helps to ensure timely and accurate month and year-end financial closes. The Financial Analyst ensures that all financial operational functions are accomplished for the division while respecting RHD\'s corporate values.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Develop program annual budgets, monthly analysis, and forecasts of divisional revenues and expenses. Analyze trends, risks and opportunities; help in creating efficient operational models and implementing solutions and opportunities for cost reduction and increased profitability.
  • Review General Ledger to ensure compliance with GAAP standards, funder requirements and RHD policy; submit Journal Entries and Reclasses as needed.
  • Develop financial modeling, financial statement analysis, reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Track monthly expenses against budgets, identify and analyze trends, alert team about potential issues, and provide recommendations for solutions.
  • Provide training, education, and mentoring on relevant financial matters to program staff.
  • Prepare and submit program funded invoices and cost reports, ensuring compliance with all funder and RHD guidelines.
  • Review program operational and accounting activities such as credit card coding, remote banking, fixed assets, etc. Correct and complete accounting entries as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, financial reports for year-end corporate and contract compliance audits, including retrieving supporting documents and back-up information as requested and analyzing and reporting of key performance indicators.

Required Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent work experience; business degree preferred.

Required Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, intermediate knowledge of Word recommended
  • Working knowledge and application of GAAP.

Program Summary:
RHD\'s BHH programs provide flexible supports that address the ever-changing needs of consumers and include support for family members and input for service design from consumers, their families and advocates within trauma informed settings.

RHD employees and programs in the City of Philadelphia are required to follow the COVID vaccine mandate. The City of Philadelphia has issued an Emergency Regulation Governing the Control and Prevention of COVID-19 Mandating Vaccines for Healthcare Workers and In Higher Education, Healthcare, and Related Settings (\xe2\x80\x9cVaccine Mandate Regulation\xe2\x80\x9d), which mandates vaccine for healthcare workers and in higher education, healthcare, and related settings. This mandate became Effective on August 16, 2021 and requires Healthcare Workers and certain workers at Healthcare Institutions to be fully vaccinated by October 15, 2021. Fully vaccinated means it has been two weeks since the final dose of vaccine. The regulation does allow individuals to apply to RHD for an exemption based on a sincerely held religious belief that would prohibit vaccination for COVID-19 or because of medical conditions that preclude administration of one of the available vaccines.
