Job Overview

The Friends for Landen Boyle campaign is seeking a Finance Director to join our Campaign team. The Finance Director will play an integral role in the campaign's overall fundraising operation. This position leads the team in establishing an in-state network and will direct the campaign's in-state robust events program. This position will require collaboration with the rest of the finance team and will oversee a direct team of event managers and assistants. The expected salary range for this position is $600/week. This position is based in Columbus, OH and will require regular travel and willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Write and implement an aggressive Finance Plan through the 2027 cycle. Provide detailed projections/reports to the team as well as managing appropriate trackers. Manage the day-to-day operation of the Events team including overseeing multiple staff, staffing events, and otherwise stepping-in as the team needs Identify gaps in the in-state donor universe and present creative solutions of expanding the candidate's network through strategic events and targeting. Work with other team members to ensure coordinated donor outreach Handle high-level donor relationships and communicate regularly with major donors
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and written verbal and communication skills Experience with NGP VAN and Google Suite Proven ability to manage concurrent projects under tight deadlines Prior experience managing call time Previous management experience
APPLICANT NICE TO HAVES

Strong preference for 2+ cycles of campaign fundraising experience as a full-time staffer, preferably with experience working directly with candidates Ties to Ohio or knowledge of Ohio politics preferred but not required
TIME EXPECTATIONS AND COMPENSATION

Job Type: Full-time, with evening, weekend, and some holiday availability

Pay: $600 per week. Salary commensurate with experience.
