Job Summary: The Field Manager plays a pivotal role in our organization, overseeing and coordinating various construction projects related to home exterior improvements and general contracting. This hands-on position requires exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail. The Field Manger will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful execution of projects while maintaining a safe and productive work environment for the team.

Responsibilities: * Leadership and Supervision: Provide strong leadership to the construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and subcontractors. Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring each team member understands their responsibilities and goals.

• Project Management: Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, schedule, and execute projects according to specified timelines and budgets. Ensure all project requirements, permits, and materials are in place before commencing work.
• Quality Control: Oversee all aspects of construction to ensure work meets company standards and industry best practices. Conduct regular inspections and maintain quality assurance protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
• Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety on-site, enforcing adherence to all safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety meetings and training as required to mitigate potential hazards.
• Material and Equipment Management: Manage the efficient use of materials and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and utilized to optimize project productivity.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the Project Manager, clients, team members, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression and resolve any issues promptly.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve on-site challenges and unforeseen issues that may arise during construction, making timely decisions to keep projects on track.
• Documentation: Accurately complete daily reports, project logs, and other necessary documentation as required by the company.
• Training and Development: Mentor and train junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development within the company.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Field Manager or similar leadership role in home exterior and general contracting projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and building codes.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Relevant certifications in construction, building trades, or project management are advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

• The role involves physical labor and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and operate construction equipment as needed.
