As a Fiber Technician, you will terminate, test, and certify all fiber optic cables. This job is a contract job that will pay a flat rate of $1800 with travel expenses paid for directly by us. The travel dates will be November 3-7 2025.
What you'll do
Perform fiber splicing and termination to ensure optimal network performance
Conduct thorough testing of network connections using certification tools
Provide field service support for clients, addressing any technical issues promptly
Ensure compliance with low voltage regulations and safety standards

Fiber Optics termination, testing, and certification
About The Job
All cabling will be singlemode fiber
Terminate 156 (78 strands) fiber ends with LC connectors
Test all cables and provide certification of all testing
What you will need
All tools needed to complete the job
Fiber Optic cable certification tool (Fluke, Fiber Owl, etc.)
Be able to provide .pdf of all testing and certification

Base Pay: $360.00 per day
