As the Family Services Coordinator, you will act as an advocate for families of youth enrolled at Center Point School and you will assist in maintaining connections and communication between families and the school. You will be responsible for identifying the strengths, supports, and needs of the families and students, as well as the planning, coordination, and linking of appropriate services to assist in meeting these needs. You will also monitor the health concerns of enrolled students including administering and monitoring required medications. You will also assist in communicating and maintaining connections between families and Center Point School. Center Point School is a registered and approved alternative school that offers specialized education for each student in a therapeutic school environment for youth with emotional, neurological, and/or behavioral issues. Center Point School also provides services to students\' families that address trust, communication skills, conflict resolution, incentives and consequences for behavior, relationship dynamics, and support with basic needs such as groceries. Successful Family Service Coordinators have one year of experience working with youth and families, specifically addressing youth mental health needs, family crises, case management, and/or community resource work. It is preferred to have an associate\'s or bachelor\'s degree in a behavioral science field and to understand family systems. Cultural sensitivity and experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds are a must. You must be able to relate effectively to folks from all different backgrounds and abilities.
