Job Description

Midwest Janitorial Service is a well-established cleaning company looking for a reliable, hard-working second-shift facility supervisors who want to lead a team of 4-6. We have full-time and part-time shifts available.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and wants to help their staff be successful in meeting client needs and expectations. The position requires training, overseeing the completion of work, and following up on client requests. The position will have cleaning responsibilities. This position requires above-average attendance.

The position is Monday through Friday, with a start time between 3 pm and 5 pm. Start times are based on the facility assigned.

Trains new employees. Performs safety meetings & toolbox talks Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff in their assigned facility. Conducts performance evaluations. Performs quality assurance inspections and works with staff to complete client requests/concerns. Performs cleaning tasks per the custodial job description Responsible for proper use, inventory and maintenance equipment, materials, PPE, and supplies in assigned facilities. Must be able to bend, twist, squat, and lift 20 lbs. - 30 lbs. and be on feet the entire shift. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Driving between multiple facilities is required every day. Must pass a background check as well as client-required background checks. Must be able to freely access client facilities. Must be reliable and have excellent attendance. Must adhere to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environment for everyone.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

AA Degree Preferred but a combination of experience/education will be considered A high degree of professionalism Exceptional customer service skills as work performed around client Ability to oversee staff and provide a positive environment Ability to inspect completed work High attention to detail Reliable Self-Motivated Able to Work with Others Above average English reading and verbal communication ability
