Job Description

The Facilities Assistant Work Study Student will perform assigned duties related to the operation of the facilities department, and assist the maintenance team, as needed. We are currently looking for a facilities student workstudy for both Kokomo and Logansport.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with completing daily work orders.
Assist with setting up and tearing down furniture for special events.
Deliver mail to campus office locations.
Complete minor landscaping projects, painting, lawn care, and various outdoor projects.
Be available to receive orders at the facilities shop location.
Must have a valid driver's license and meet the requirements to be an authorized driver of a college vehicle.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.
Ability to use hand and power tools
Move safely up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience: None, but maintenance experience preferred.
Starting Salary Range: $15.00 per hour
