Facilities Maintenance Manager (stamping & Welding)

Job Description

Summary / Objective:



The Maintenance Manager leads, develops, and provides technical support to the maintenance teams for Stamping, Robotic Welding, EcoATM operations, and Facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all equipment and physical facilities, while driving continuous improvement and developing the team's skill levels to meet production and facility needs.

Essential Functions (but are not limited to):



Ensure safety of self and team by following all safety policies/procedures and wearing required PPE. Oversee maintenance of production equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure. Plan and coordinate equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and facility expansions. Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all production and facility systems, including HVAC, telecommunications, office equipment, and building systems. Organize and delegate maintenance tasks and projects to team members. Inspect and ensure the completion and quality of maintenance, construction, and installation work. Maintain relationships with vendors; requisition materials and supplies and monitor inventory levels. Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and equipment layout for maximum efficiency. Attend training with equipment suppliers to stay current on equipment capabilities and improvements. Support troubleshooting and hands-on problem-solving for equipment and facility issues. Support tooling modifications and adjustments for production needs. Oversee ECI changes to tooling as needed. Confer with management and other departments to facilitate production and facility operations. Develop and coach the maintenance teams' skill levels across all covered areas. Ensure department follows all safety and quality standards; provide training as needed. Prepare and manage departmental budgets and monitor performance against budget targets. Supervise contractors and building maintenance personnel when needed. Oversee parking, cleaning, and general facility upkeep programs. Regular attendance is required.

Must be flexible to support all areas and perform other duties as needed to accomplish goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience:



Bachelor's degree or associate degree with technical training in maintenance, facilities, or related field -- or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance setting supervising salaried employees Experience with robotic welding, stamping, or similar production operations. Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems preferred. PLC and robot programming knowledge (Fanuc, Yaskawa, Omron) is a plus. Ability to read and follow instructions, drawings, and schematics. Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
