We are seeking a Facilities Clerk to join our outstanding team. You will help perform a variety of messenger functions dealing with supplies, mail deliveries/pickup, fixed assets, vehicle maintenance, and other items for all of our DHS offices. The incumbent will also provide support for other messengers as needed and work under the supervision of the Facilities Manager.



Additional Duties

Help to verify accuracy of DHS orders

Reports discrepancies which include maintaining and organizing inventory items of supplies at the Storage Warehouse

Receives supplies from outside vendors for the Storage Warehouse for all DHS offices

Assembles and delivers office supplies as requested from DHS Fixed Assets/Procurement staff at all DHS offices.

Delivers/Build/Setup furniture at any DHS location

Counts and tracks supplies in office and warehouse

Forwards the invoice to the respective DHS Procurement Coordinators

Serves as backup to the mail carrier

Walking Mail route delivery - Picks up, sorts and delivers inter-office mail for DHS offices

Picks up and delivers records for storage or retrieval from Records Warehouse to DHS offices.

Arranges furniture (tables, chairs, etc.) for scheduled meetings in DHS conference rooms, as needed.

Maintains fuel and preventative maintenance for DHS vehicles.

Notifies building management of any problems

Investigates assigned tickets in our Service Desk Plus System

Maintain Key Base and Records Management System

Other duties as assigned


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:



1. Possess Act 33 and 34 Clearances



2. Have a valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle



3. Full time position requiring 38.75 hours per week



QUALIFICATIONS:



High school diploma or GED



Ability to team lift at least 65 pounds.



Vailid PA Driver's License
