Fabricator - Jonesboro, AR

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs the work required to form metal for product build.
• Sets-up, repairs, operates, and maintains testing and related equipment.
• Loads and unloads machines.
• Changes dies, fixtures and gauges as required.
• Ensures the correct computer program is utilized for the product being run and make adjustments as required by the print.
• Maintains quality standards. Inspects initial product and make adjustments necessary to produce the product to specifications identified on order documents and print drawings to.
• Checks product visually with fixed gauges and prints. Including first piece inspections.
• Determines the cause of operating difficulties and takes corrective action.
• Moves materials within the work area.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product/service.
• Reports unusual conditions or questionable items to supervisor.
• Obeys all safety rules and regulations.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Maintains records as required.
• Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1-year related work experience

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated mechanical ability
Understanding of computers and computer programs
Ability to read blueprints and interpret measurements
Ability to accurately measure with both caliper and tape measure to 1/32\xe2\x80\x9d
