Job Description

E.J. Prescott is looking for a full-time Fabrication Technician to join our Plastic Pipe Fabrication team out of our home office in Gardiner, ME!

The Fabrication Technician will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, accurately measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components using various power tools and machinery within a manufacturing shop to create finished products, ensuring quality control throughout the fabrication process while adhering to safety regulations; key duties include reading technical drawings, setting up equipment, performing precise cuts and bends, welding components, and conducting quality checks on fabricated parts.

What You'll Do:

Measure, cut, and assemble HDPE pipe and fittings Learn to operate fusion machines and hand tools for custom builds Assist with general shop duties including loading, unloading, and cleanup Work with a small, close-knit team that takes pride in quality work

What We're Looking For:

Background in

construction, metal fabrication, or welding

Comfortable using saws, grinders, and measuring tools Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn Able to safely lift and move pipe and fittings around the shop

Not Required (We'll Train the Right Person):

Prior HDPE experience Certifications or formal shop-management background
