Extraction Specialist

Reports to: Extraction Manager, Director of Operations

Position Overview:

The extraction specialist produces cannabis concentrates as decided by management. Multiple SKUs will be expected, so the specialist must be able to provide a wide variety of products from a single BHO extraction run. The extraction specialist is responsible for maintaining a clear and thorough record of operations in a compliant lab notebook, following standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean and compliant production environment.

Full-Time

Pay Scale: $25 - $30 hourly

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor equipment used in extraction and production of cannabis products Follow detailed SOPs to ensure consistent product quality and regulatory compliance. Produce, process, label, package, and store products as specified in production records. Assist with setup, changeover, and cleaning of workspaces between processes. Assist with inventory management operations as assigned by management, with a concerted effort toward keeping a lab notebook that reconciles directly to METRC and that can be used for keeping records of our operations. Perform and log equipment maintenance and calibration. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the facility as requested by management. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications a plus. Valid Alaska Marijuana Handler's Card and a Valid Alaska Food Worker Card. Ability to read and follow written instructions, SOPs, and batch records. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
