Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. MUST BE OVER 16 YEARS OLD, ABLE TO WORK THURSDAY, FRIDAY, AND SATURDAY NIGHTS UNTIL 10PM.

The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete and presented beautifully. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food items. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs. Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times. Provide support during banquet services, including setup and breakdown of events. Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Toast is a POS plus. Background in culinary arts, hospitality, or guest services will be advantageous. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Experience in banquet settings or hotel environments is beneficial but not required.
