JOB DESCRIPTION

Training program for high potentials to ensure that the organization has the right talents available in Manufacturing Controlling, within the world of Finance.

By joining our up to 24-month eXplore Tires Manufacturing Controlling Trainee Program, you can prepare for a position in Controlling at Continental.

You will get first-hand experience from shop floor to management level at our tire manufacturing locations throughout the world.

Getting to know the tools, systems, organization and principles of controlling, you will experience our passion to improve processes and financially steer our business on a day-to-day basis.

By working on challenging and exciting cross-functional projects, you will interact with central departments and extend your global network. Look forward to highly motivated colleagues at your plant and become a member of our globally networked team. Start your future at Continental!

Training program structure:
Plant Controlling
10-12 months in Plant Controlling, learning on-the-job and get to know all controlling-related topics in the home tire plant
Introduction to controlling processes and systems
General Introduction to production processes, Rubber Technologies, Material\xe2\x80\x99s flow - deeper introduction to plant operations

Controlling- Central
6 months in Central Controlling at the Headquarters
Project-based training and assignments
In-depth understanding of central controlling, related systems and projects
Technical trainings, e.g. LIFT (Learning Initiative for Tires)
Extra functional trainings on team building, intercultural awareness, Continental Business System, soft skills

Plant stay (abroad)
2 months in Plant Controlling in a tire plant abroad in order to gain international experience
Controlling projects within the plant
Involvement and contribution to day-to-day business

Your profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or similar qualification with > 3.0 GPA
• First working experience up to 2 years after university study
• Strong interpersonal- and communication skills, committed team player, eager to work in a multicultural environment
• Driven by passion and self-driven, open minded and ambitious personality, high operational readiness
• Passion for the automotive Industry

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA
• Manufacturing Internship in Automotive
• International experience through study abroad or internship
