Founded in 1977, Triangle Contractors (www.triangle-contractors.com) is an independently owned, growing full-service mechanical contractor focused on delivering turnkey HVAC/mechanical, electrical, and plumbing solutions to a strong base of commercial and industrial customers. Triangle is centrally located in Morganton, North Carolina and services large healthcare, education, general industrial and light commercial customers primarily in Central and Western North Carolina. Required Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy \xc2\xb7 May require welding certification(s) \xc2\xb7 Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within particular field This position offers competitive hourly pay based on experience, along with our comprehensive health benefits package. Job Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Lays out, aligns and welds fabricated, cast and forged components to assemble piping and structural forms according to blueprints and metallurgy \xc2\xb7 Selects type and size of pipe or related materials and equipment according to specifications \xc2\xb7 Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly and welding, applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage and welding techniques \xc2\xb7 May be required to use a variety of welding processes \xc2\xb7 Lays out, positions, aligns and fits components together in various body positions \xc2\xb7 Bolts, clamps and welds together metal components of products such as piping systems, plate, pipe and tube or structural shapes, using arc and arc gas welding equipment \xc2\xb7 May weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead position \xc2\xb7 Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies \xc2\xb7 Assists other mechanics as needed \xc2\xb7 Respiratory protection is common and may be required \xc2\xb7 Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules \xc2\xb7 Willing to work various shifts as required \xc2\xb7 Hard working and dependable with proven ability to see jobs through from start to finish \xc2\xb7 Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail skills with proven ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks at once \xc2\xb7 Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license or government issued ID \xc2\xb7 Reliable personal transportation daily to the relevant job site All employees are subject to Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification upon hire.
