Experienced Longline Deckhands
Job Description
Deckhands are experienced commercial fishermen who have worked their way up to the deckhand position. Deckhands must have at least one year experience as a deckhand aboard a factory longline vessel. Deckhands assist Deckboss/Bosun in bringing fish aboard the vessel in a safe and timely manner. Duties and Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Must be able to work 12 \xe2\x80\x93 16 hour shifts \xc2\xb7 Participates in all safety drills \xc2\xb7 Reports to Captain, Mate, Deckboss/Bosun \xc2\xb7 Handle lines to tie up vessel \xc2\xb7 Set and haul gear \xc2\xb7 Inspect, repair, and modify gear \xc2\xb7 Inventory gear \xc2\xb7 Run roller operation Job Type: Contract Pay: $8,000.00 - $17,000.00 per month Benefits:
