Job Description

The Head Housekeeper is responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel's guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities. This includes supervising a team of housekeepers, developing and implementing cleaning procedures, and ensuring that all standards are met. The Head Housekeeper also works closely with other departments to ensure that the hotel is running smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of housekeepers and ensure that all rooms are cleaned to a high standard Develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained Order and maintain supplies Resolve guest complaints Work with other departments to ensure that the hotel is running smoothly Train and develop staff Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience in hotel housekeeping Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
