Private Events & Banqueting Manager

to lead our private event operations -- from business development and client relationship management to execution and team leadership.

Position Summary:

This is a hands-on, client-facing role ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for event planning and a proven ability to drive sales. The successful candidate will work closely with members and private clients to curate unforgettable events, while managing all aspects of banquet operations and team training.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase private event and function bookings Build and maintain strong relationships with members, clients, vendors, and partners Plan, coordinate, and oversee events from inquiry through execution Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and event briefs Lead, schedule, and train banquet staff to uphold service excellence Collaborate with the culinary and service teams to deliver seamless experiences Maintain accurate reports on event performance, feedback, and revenue Ensure compliance with health, safety, and club standards at all times Works in tandem with Executive Chef and Front of House Managers ensuring proper service throughout all facilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

3-5 years' experience in event sales and banquet operations, preferably within a luxury hotel or private club Strong background in hospitality sales and client service Impeccable attention to detail with exceptional organizational and communication skills A polished, professional demeanor and client-first mindset Experience training and managing front-of-house teams Proficient in event management software and CRM tools Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings and weekends as required

Pay: $54,197.00 - $65,000.00 per year
