POSITION SUMMARY This is an important role in creating a memorable experience for our luau guests having their vacation with us. This position will assist the Event Manager as needed to prepare for outdoor events which include cleaning, organization, lifting and moving heavy items, and maintaining safety for all guests and staff members. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Move items to and from storage areas at designated times.
• Set up tables and chairs for event.
• Place sound equipment and plug in sound equipment (no experience necessary)
• Greet guests and assist with any necessary accommodations.
• Assist in buffet style food serving
• Maintain general cleanliness, including trash removal, organizing, cleaning, and wiping
• Immediately report all over consumption of alcohol, suspicious occurrences, and hazardous conditions.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the show as directed.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED LICENSE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Food Handler\'s Certificate
• One (1) years of experience in customer service
• Must be able to consistently work all shifts (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Must be able to speak, read and understand basic directions in English.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to speak and hear, vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Constant standing and walking.
• Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift/move 50 pounds.
• Regularly required to use hands.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Outdoor setting.
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
• Tourist environment.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits:
