Seeking an Event Setup Crew member to support 33 conference rooms and Statehouse events. Role includes arranging furniture/equipment, setting up A/V and sound systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring spaces are clean and event-ready.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate audio, video, sound, and live-streaming equipment
Troubleshoot and fix equipment issues
Review setup plans and organize timelines
Prepare event spaces (unlock doors, lights, blinds, cleaning, trash removal)
Move/transport furniture and equipment
Reset rooms quickly for back-to-back events
Lead team tasks when needed
Maintain inventory and assist with supplies
Support weekend events as the main point of contact
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
6+ months experience moving/transporting furniture/equipment
Ability to lift, stand, bend, walk, and perform manual tasks
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic knowledge of A/V and sound equipment (1 year preferred)
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently
