Position Overview:

The Event Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the Holiday Light Show, overseeing daily operations, and creating a memorable experience for all guests. Key responsibilities include:

Arriving one hour before the event each evening to activate all holiday light displays. Monitoring and maintaining BOLD Media's operational standards throughout the event. Managing staff activities and providing guidance when needed. Communicating remotely with the Special Event Operations Center to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable event experience. Addressing customer inquiries and resolving any on-site issues. Powering down displays and securing the event site at the end of each night.

Training:

Comprehensive training will be provided digitally and on-site, beginning with the first few nights of the event to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have previous event management or supervisory experience, particularly in high-pressure environments. They should be reliable, solutions-oriented, and trustworthy, with strong multitasking skills. The ability to stay calm under pressure is essential.

Key Qualifications:

Proven experience in event management or staff supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to multitask and manage stressful situations effectively. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Requirements:

A background check may be required for all candidates. Candidates must participate in a live video interview.
