Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for guest services, and the ability to manage seating arrangements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-of Event Support: Assist with event setup and ensure the space is welcoming and prepared for guests. Guest Assistance: Greet attendees, facilitate check-ins, and provide support throughout the event. Engagement: Help run icebreakers, games, and activities as directed by the Lead Event Host. Event Flow Management: Monitor event timing and help maintain a seamless experience. Cleanup and Closeout: Support post-event breakdown and cleanup. Other Duties as Assigned

Optional Opportunities for Additional Earnings:

Affiliate Program Participation: Refer clients to The Smitten Project's events, services, or memberships and earn commissions. Sales Assistance: Assist with ticket sales, sponsorships, or memberships for additional commission-based earnings (not a core requirement).

Required Qualifications:

Completion of the

Ashling Events Host Accreditation and

the Smitten Event Host AddOn, which focuses on fostering meaningful connections at Smitten events. Registration for the Accreditation training is available at: https://ashlingevents.com/register/*
Friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills. Organized, reliable, and punctual, with the ability to take direction. Comfortable working evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in events or hospitality is a plus but not required.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
