Event Assistant

We partner with respected charitable clients and engage communities through in-person outreach events, donor engagement and fundraising efforts. If you're passionate about people, service and making a tangible difference, this role offers a rewarding and dynamic opportunity.
As an Even Assistant, you will be the face of our nonprofit partners at live in-person events. You'll connect directly with potential donors, introduce them to our clients' mission, provide friendly, professional service, and help grow support for meaningful causes. You will work full-time in a public-facing role, blending customer-service excellence with fundraising outreach.
Event Assistant Responsibilities
Represent our nonprofit clients at event sites, public activations and outreach locations. Introduce prospective donors to the mission of our nonprofit partners and explain how individual contributions make an impact. Engage attendees one-on-one, greet, converse, answer their questions about the program, and invite support or commitment. Maintain a high level of professionalism, live the brand values of our nonprofit clients, and create positive donor experiences. Record donor information, track contributions and support using our outreach systems or CRM tools. Collaborate with your Event Assistant team to meet event goals and donor-engagement benchmarks.
What We're Looking For in an Event Assistant
Excellent verbal communication skills and an ability to build rapport quickly with varied audiences. Friendly, professional, empathetic and composed. Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities, able to manage materials, donor interactions, and follow-up details. Basic comfort with technology for inputting donor information, using tablets or mobile devices, and accessing simple CRM or tracking tools. Flexible scheduling availability to support full-time work including evenings or weekends as the outreach calendar demands.

Pay: $47,155.00 - $56,788.81 per year
