DEPARTMENT: EMERGENCY ROOM
STATUS: PRN
HOURS: 7:00PM-7:00AM (Nights)
Performs emergent treatment on all triaged patients and triage assessment to include rapid, systematic collection of data to determine acuity, priority and appropriate intervention. Management and operation of ER equipment in a safe and correct way: as well as demonstrates an ability to assist physicians with procedures in the E R. Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity, identifies needs of the patient and/ or family member and responds appropriately ensuring patient's needs are met and hospital policy is followed. Efficient use of the EDIS program and all its functions with computerized charting. Maintains current knowledge of medications and their correct administration. Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function well under stressful situations. Reports to ER Coordinator.
Current Louisiana RN/LPN License required. Prior ER nursing experience preferred.
Pay: $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 28 per week
Experience:
Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
LA RN license (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
