Bartlett Regional Hospital is searching for a Environmental Service Technician I to join our Environment Services team!

Job Summary:

Under general supervision of the Environmental Services Lead, performs daily linen duties and/or daily cleaning of inpatient, ancillary, outpatient and administrative areas of Bartlett Regional Hospital. Ensures patients, visitors and hospital staff with a safe, clean, functional and aesthetically attractive physical environment consistent with the standards established by Bartlett Regional Hospital, The Joint Commission, the State of Alaska and other regulatory agencies. Participates in other hospital committees and teams as appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for the Job:

Education: High School diploma or the equivalent required. Confirmation of completion is required within 90 days of hire. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Experience: Institutional housekeeping experience preferred. Proven competency in specialty area. Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the facility.

Certification(s): None

Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
