Overview: Precision Valley Communications is a leading provider of engineering, mapping and design services for cable, telephony and utility customers. With headquarters in Springfield Vermont, PVC also has office locations in Massachusetts. PVC\'s field services include the mapping and design of strand and as-built, as well as make-ready engineering and pole audits.
Precision Valley Communications is seeking entry level QCer\'s. Candidates with experience using AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred. Prior telecommunications industry experience is a plus. Individuals with a propensity for gaming often find this role to be a great fit.
Quality Control (QC) Responsibilities:
Check drawings in MicroStation to ensure they are in the customer specified format and all information from asbuild design drawings and/or field notes has been applied correctly.
Review Microsoft Excel documents to confirm all information from asbuild design drawings and/or field notes has been applied correctly.
Compile a submittal package of completed asbuild documents to deliver to the customer
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Some knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is preferred but we will train the right person.
Must be proficient in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Office - Word and Excel
Past experience in the telecommunications industry is helpful
Keen attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screens
